A leading defence organization in Bolton seeks an Electrical biased Inspector to join their Manufacturing Operations team. The role involves inspecting mechanical hardware builds to ensure they meet specifications and are free from damage. Candidates must have relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications and be skilled in reading assembly drawings. An exciting opportunity for an Inspector to join our Manufacturing Operations team in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive Manufacturing environment, ideally Electrical & Mechanical skilled but predominantly in an Electrical biased area.
Salary: £42,558
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
This opportunity is for a Inspector (Electrical biased) to join the Manufacturing team supporting inspection and certification of a variety of mechanical hardware builds, ranging from small fixtures through to complex missile systems, during all phases of the product lifecycle. You will be providing operations support to ensure programme targets are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
You will be working with a large team of multi-disciplined operators in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive Manufacturing environment. The team has a great mix of people, ranging from apprentices through to experienced skilled technicians, all striving to deliver technical excellence across a number of different missile systems in development and production.
