Join ateam at a leading engineering firm where they specialise in manufacturing high-quality, precision-engineered parts. We are seeking an experienced, time-served Workshop Machinist, Miller & Turner to enhanceoperations at their Essex branch.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Proficiently read engineering manufacturing drawings for the production of parts and components.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and measuring instruments.
  • Machine parts to pre-determined specifications using various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, machining centres, borers, grinders, and pedestal/radial drills.
  • Work to very high tolerances with a high attention to detail.
  • Maintain a strong appreciation of health & safety standards.
  • Execute all work professionally and efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant knowledge, training, and experience working in a machine environment.
  • Time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications.
