A leading recruitment firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial management functions on a flagship Residential and Mixed-Use project. The role involves leading a team of Quantity Surveyors and managing various duties, including producing CVRs and financial accounts. Candidates must have minimum 10 years of experience, excellent knowledge of JCT Design & Build Contracts, and strong negotiation skills. This permanent position offers a competitive salary package.

Salary: c£90k-£95k basic DOE plus competitive package inc car allowance, pension etc.
Company & Project: A privately owned main contractor operating in the Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use and Regeneration sectors, are currently recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead flagship Residential and Mixed-Use, Design & Build, New Build project in excess of c£70m+.
The business will consider experienced Senior QS candidates looking for a step up or proven Managing QS candidates.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading all commercial management functions on a flagship project, overseeing a small team of Senior Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors.
Key duties include: producing CVRs, managing team workload to include applications for payment from sub-contractors, variations and preparation of final accounts. You will be reporting at a senior level to directors.
Experience working on JCT Design & Build Contracts is essential for this position.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable.
