Management Accountant – Salary up to £50k (DOE). Lanarkshire – Hybrid

Overview

Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic, international business, to source suitable applicants for the role of ‘Management Accountant’. This role supports the accounting and financial planning and analysis across entities in the UK and globally.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Supporting monthly budget-to-actual reporting and KPI dashboards.
  • Contributing to financial modelling and analytical tools for improved forecasting.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries in line with IFRS across multiple legal entities.
  • Assisting with consolidation procedures and group reporting.
  • Performing general ledger and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and noting disclosures.
  • Maintaining audit-ready documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Drafting technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
  • Providing data for tax compliance across all entities.
Qualifications

Applicants will ideally be a qualified accountant, however, suitably qualified by experience and part qualified finalist accountants will also be considered. This position is suitable for those doing a similar role within industry, or who are looking to make their first move from an accountancy practice firm. You will have strong IFRS knowledge and be highly analytical. It is important to have excellent Microsoft Excel skills, as well as a proactive and collaborative mindset to communicate with various stakeholders across the business.
