Overview

SES Engineering Services are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team, supporting our Prism Offsite Manufacturing business. At SES, we specialise in delivering innovative engineering services, and our success is built on strong foundations of operational excellence and financial insight. We're looking for a Management Accountant to strengthen our team and support the continued growth of our business. This is a key role within the SES Finance team, responsible for delivering high-quality, timely, and consistent financial management information across both regional and company levels. You will play a critical part in supporting decision-making, control, reporting, and analysis, with a specific focus on our Prism division.

Responsibilities
  • Management Accounts & Reporting: Produce accurate monthly management accounts for Prism, support robust month-end close procedures, and assist in preparing detailed contract forecasts and year-end audit documentation.
  • Cost Management & Budgeting: Validate and monitor Prism overhead costs, produce monthly reports, and support budget holders in preparing accurate forecasts to enable informed decision-making.
  • Balance Sheet & Cashflow Oversight: Prepare monthly balance sheet reports and reconciliations, manage the fixed asset register, and contribute to accurate cashflow forecasting and tracking.
  • Staff Costing & Financial Planning: Collaborate with Commercial, HR, and Group Finance teams to maintain staff costing processes and support financial planning activities.
  • Adhoc Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, contribute to internal control improvements, and support project work including IT and capital investment initiatives.
