Overview

Management Accountant Preston (Hybrid) GBP42,000 to GBP49,000 + Benefits

Our client is a large and highly recognisable name based in Preston and we are seeking to recruit to a newly created Management Accounting role. The role will be highly analytical and will focus on the costing of new services. Working with internal colleagues you will accurately provide the analysis and commentary to provide the financial information to support informed decision making.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on the development of a new costing model
  • Work with budget holders and wider stakeholders to understand cost drivers
  • Present outputs to senior stakeholders to enable the opportunity to spot risks and opportunities.
  • Support the production of regulatory returns
  • Forecast and budget production and analysis
Qualifications

Ideally you will be qualified AAT and actively working towards a fully recognised accountancy qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA. It is essential you have strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to use complex spreadsheets and database tools to analyse financial data. You will have a strong attention to detail, be a team player and be able to build strong working relationships with both financial and non financial colleagues.
