Overview

A well-established manufacturing business in the Coleraine area is seeking a new Management Accountant to join their finance team. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, the company continues to expand and requires a finance professional who can support operational and strategic decision-making.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and robust cost control. You will collaborate closely with both operational and senior management teams to ensure financial performance is monitored and optimised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitoring performance against budgets and highlighting variances.

  • Assisting with year-end accounts and audit preparation.
  • Providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Supporting improvements in financial processes and controls.
About You
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
  • Experience in management accounting.
  • Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge.
  • Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is desirable
