We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician – Level 3 to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who are experienced in troubleshooting moderately complex technical issues, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of working with minimal supervision. The position involves supporting production operations, implementing improvements, and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Perform moderately complex troubleshooting and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems.
Apply technical knowledge to identify root causes and recommend long-term solutions.
Work independently with minimal guidance to maintain operational efficiency.
Identify, schedule, and manage small-scale improvement projects or group activities.
Mentor and provide technical support to lower-level technicians.
Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance schedules and operational safety standards.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related challenges.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of technical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and repair methods for production equipment.
Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and manuals.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, measuring instruments, and repair equipment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Skills
Experience mentoring junior technicians.
Exposure to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Familiarity with safety regulations and hazard prevention practices in a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
Primarily based in a manufacturing environment (approx. 7 hours/day).
Exposure to moving machinery, conveyors, chemicals, and moderate noise levels (hearing protection may be required in specific areas).
Occasional overtime or travel for training may be required.
