Overview

Role: Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Commutable from Fareham, Southampton, Cosham, Havant, Waterlooville and surrounding areas

Hours: Days - Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm)

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus Benefits and career growth opportunities

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor to work within a fast-paced factory environment. This is a hands-on role with a rough split of 60% hands-on and 40% management. Your role is to support, complete and coordinate all maintenance activities in the factory, ensuring repairs are completed quickly and efficiently, proactive maintenance is carried out, and various projects are managed.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on and complete various maintenance tasks including breakdown repairs and PPMs
• Motivate and lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers
• Coordinate and champion the Planned Preventive Maintenance system
• Coordinate various projects and contractors, as and when required
• Help support continuous improvements in the factory
• Take an active role in reporting on maintenance

Requirements

• Experienced Maintenance Engineer who has leadership / supervisory experience — you could be working as a Maintenance Supervisor OR Maintenance Team Leader
• Qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineering or similar
• Mechanical OR Electrical OR Multi-Skilled — hiring manager is open to any bias
• Experienced in completing repairs and general factory maintenance to machinery and/or equipment
• Ideally have some experience of motors, bearings, chains, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, control panels
• Holding passion, drive and love for Engineering
