Overview

Maintenance Team Leader responsible for supervising a team of 3 engineers and delivering engineering support and maintenance services across the Beenham manufacturing site. Ensure equipment is maintained effectively, and breakdowns/repairs are completed safely and efficiently. Attend equipment breakdowns, execute PPM schedules, and work with the Engineering Manager, Production Manager, and Production Team Leaders to prioritise maintenance activities to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 3 engineers providing maintenance and engineering support at the Beenham site.
• Attend equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs in a timely, safe manner.
• Plan and execute Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Prioritise planned and unplanned maintenance with peers to meet business needs and minimise downtime.
• Work with the Estates/Facilities team as required to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Maintenance background with NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• CMMS experience, ideally with SAP.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement (CI) to deliver performance enhancements.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Flexible approach to varying work activities including production requirements.
• Solid understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and regulatory requirements.
• Clear passion for engineering with a desire to learn and grow in the role.
