Qualifications

• A current driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to a high standard of finish.
• Maintain the structure and fabric of the Home, repairing and preserving where necessary.
• Conform to and understand the Health and Safety Regulations.
• Observe the privacy of the clients and demonstrate a caring and understanding nature.
• Collect medical and sundry items as and when required.
• Practice confidentiality regarding the Home, the clients and visitors.
• Repair and prepare equipment/site or furniture as requested.
• Maintain the building to current legislation and to the Company's own manual.
• Prepare, retain and present relevant records in all aspects of the Homes safety policies and manuals.
• Liaise with the Companies maintenance contractors and ensure their value.
• Work safely and ensure the Home meets and complies with all regulatory requirements, including fire, etc.
• Advise the Manager or Company on matters of safety or maintenance.
• Adhere to working budgets and furnish the management with costings and information on pricing.
• Complete the necessary reports and forms as advised.
