The role includes interpreting instructions and working independently. Maintenance Joiner

Location: Derby

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,162 per annum

We are partnered with a leading service provider who is one of the world's leading FM, project development and construction groups. They have gained a great reputation through the FM sector and is now looking for a joiner to work on a health care contract for them.

The Role

As a Maintenance Joiner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality internal and external joinery maintenance and small works, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and work from instructions, drawings, and specifications without supervision
  • Set out and completely new works using appropriate tools and materials
  • Machine timber and fabricate new joinery
  • Carry out repairs to ironmongery, door furniture, blinds, and glazing
  • Undertake key cutting
  • Cut and construct metal framing systems
  • Work at height using scaffolding where required
  • Complete small works projects independently
  • Participate in an ad-hoc on-call rota for emergency works
