Overview

Maintenance Engineer position with a focus on maintaining manufacturing machinery, completing preventive maintenance, and data recording with accurate feedback. The role includes installation where necessary and ongoing training while ensuring safe working practices.

Responsibilities
  • Continental shift: 2 days – 2 nights.
  • Make improvements to production and to always maintain manufacturing machinery.
  • Ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and installation work where necessary.
  • Maintain safe working practices at all times.
  • Undertake training as required.
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding.
Qualifications
  • Recognised engineering qualifications.
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
  • Siemens S7 understanding.
  • Heavy engineering background.
  • Welding (advantageous).
  • Strong fault-finding abilities.
Benefits/Remuneration
  • Salary: £48,000 (£50,589 with lifestyle payment).
  • Overtime paid at premium rates (x1.5).
  • £47.08 lifestyle payment (paid every rostered weekend day).

Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Bilston, Wednesbury, Cannock, Stourbridge, and surrounding areas.
