Overview

Maintenance Engineer - FMCG

  • Salary: £57,000
  • Shift: Days and Nights
  • Location: Stockport

A role is now available to join a market leading manufacturing plant in Stockport. As a Maintenance Engineer you will be working in a fully automated plant, with plans to invest to further upgrade the plant. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be offered a tailored training programme and have ample opportunity to progress both at this site and across the whole group.

When applying please make sure you are multi skilled, ideally Electrical and have a background in industrial engineering. The applicant MUST be Time Served Apprentice Trained.

Responsibilities
  • Work on state-of-the-art automated equipment, including robots, PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
  • Support electrical and mechanical maintenance with a bias toward electrical skills; fault finding and troubleshooting of 3-phase motors, control panels, servo drives, and PLCs.
  • Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to continuous improvement of the plant.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Time Served Apprentice Trained (essential).
  • Electrical qualification is essential.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills with a focus on electrical work.
  • Experience with fault finding and troubleshooting in automated environments.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment; ideally manufacturing.
