Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a manufacturing business in Stourbridge. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone looking to settle into a long-term role within a supportive and skilled engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Maintain production equipment to minimise downtime
• Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Keep detailed maintenance records and complete job sheets

Requirements

• Hands on engineering experience
• Strong mechanical skills, with good electrical understanding
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have own transport

Desirable

• Experience working with presses, lathes and milling machines
• Valid Forklift Truck licence
• Valid Overhead Crane licence

Location

Based in Lye, Stourbridge - must be able to commute reliably to site daily.

Hours of work

Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 1:30pm
