Job description

Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location:Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities maintenance client who is seeking a skilled Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and a stable Monday to Friday working pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of static electrical systems across multiple sites
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure compliance with current safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure all work meets company and legislative requirements
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities teams to support smooth operations

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Proven experience working in static electrical maintenance environments
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and committed to a Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule
