A facilities maintenance company in Basingstoke is seeking a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer for an ongoing temporary position. Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Basingstoke

We are currently recruiting for a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a commercial site in Basingstoke for a facilities maintenance client.

  • Rate: £20 per hour (PAYE)
  • Pay: Weekly
  • Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Ongoing temporary position with the view to permanent
  • Site: Static commercial environment
Role Overview

The engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding and repairs on commercial electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
  • Complete relevant paperwork and reports
  • Liaise with site management and other engineers when required
Requirements
  • Recognised electrical qualifications
  • Previous experience in a commercial maintenance environment
  • Valid DBS check – essential
  • Ability to work independently on a static site
