Overview

Are you technically and mechanically minded, and ready to play a key "roll" in producing high-quality tissue and kitchen towels?

You may see many of our brands in your local supermarket, and you may even have some of them in your home! Imagine being a key part of making that happen. Join our talented production team and operate our state-of-the-art machinery in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate rewinder machines, perform checks, and ensure quality meets specifications.
  • Periodically make minor adjustments to ensure accuracy, referring to job cards and completing documentation correctly.
  • Conduct pre-use lifting and equipment guarding checks, maintain housekeeping standards, and submit monthly safety observations.
  • Support continuous improvement by seeking opportunities for cost savings and sharing ideas.
  • Adhere to safety practices in environments with high temperatures and dust from tissue fibers; participate in zero-harm initiatives.
Shift

Shift pattern: 4-on-4-off (2 night shifts 18:00–06:00, 2 day shifts 06:00–18:00, then four days off).

Requirements
  • Technical and mechanical mindset to set up machines and efficiently identify faults to minimise downtime.
  • Experience in a fast-paced FMCG production environment is desirable, particularly with large tissue or paper rewinders.
  • Critical thinking with an inquisitive mindset (confidence to challenge when appropriate).
  • Ideally, experience operating a Converting Line within the tissue or paper industry; if not, candidates from the Food sector or other FMCG environments are welcome.
