Job summary

A prestigious law firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Paralegal with a focus on M&A and Private Equity to join their London office for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a similar role along with a law degree (2:1 or equivalent). Our client, a top US law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced and professional Paralegal to join them on a 12m FTC basis in their London office - working as their new M&A / Private Equity Paralegal.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an truly exceptional team. As the successful Paralegal, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following :

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with drafting, reviewing and organising transaction documents
  • Managing due diligence tasks (collecting documents, liaising with internal teams, summarising key findings)
  • Conducting in depth legal research
  • Maintaining and updating transaction trackers, data rooms and other internal workflow tools
  • Liaising directly with Counsel, clients and counterparties on transaction-related issues
  • Handling general administrative duties when required
  • Assisting with Companies House filings
  • much more.

To be considered for this 12m FTC Paralegal opportunity, you'll need to have / be the following :

Qualifications
  • Have prior / existing experience as a Paralegal in M&A and / or Private Equity (essential)
  • Have a completed law degree (2 : 1 or equivalent minimum) (essential)
  • Be able to commit to a 12m FTC (essential)
