This is an exciting time to join us following investment of £4.0 million recurrent funding to support a blended workforce.

  • Engage in elective activity (outpatient clinics and endoscopy lists), which is mainly concentrated in the five-week period off the ward.
  • Contribute to the job plan consisting of 10 programmed activities, including allocation for the current on-call commitment. Job plans will be formally reviewed within the first six months after appointment and agreed according to evidence from actual activity.
  • Engage in predictable emergency on-call for Gastroenterology / GI Bleeding Service (1.5 DCC) and category A for unpredictable emergency work, including a daily ward round on the Gastroenterology ward at weekends when on-call.
