We are looking for Logistics Operators to join our dedicated logistics department at our Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages site in Buxton, Derbyshire.

A day in the life of a Logistics Operator

Reporting to the Shift Manager you will support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure high safety standards are adhered to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Responsible for following inbound and outbound schedule by pallet retrieving, marshalling and loading pallets as per defined SOPs.
  • Load or unload trailers by driving suitable MHEs through loading docks or loading bays.
  • Support with factory activities to achieve KPIs such as delivering packaging materials to the production line in a timely manner.
  • Approach work with a continuous improvement mind-set.
  • Ensure high quality & GMP standards are met by effectively carrying out daily cleaning plan as per defined SOPs.
  • The role will also require adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the department and plant.
What will make you successful
  • No prior experience required! We welcome individuals with a passion for logistics and a willingness to learn and develop in an automated warehouse.
  • A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain or similar subject is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience working towards safety standards.
  • Ability to work toward performance targets.
  • Preferable - Ability to operate all required MHE including Forklift Truck (e.g. Reach Truck, Counterbalance, T20) – if no license held inhouse training will be provided.
