Job Description

Reporting to the Fulfilment Manager, the Logistics Manager - 3PL will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end relationship with third-party logistics providers, ensuring best-in-class service, cost efficiency, and scalability as the business continues its growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day performance of 3PL partners across warehousing, fulfilment, and transportation.
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs to drive operational excellence and service improvements.
  • Managing logistics budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising service.
  • Leading continuous improvement projects to optimise supply chain processes.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders and logistics providers.
  • Supporting international expansion through scalable and flexible logistics solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant

The ideal Logistics Manager - 3PL will be based in Colchester on site with the 3PL partner and will have the following skillset:

  • Proven experience in managing 3PL relationships within an FMCG or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in logistics budgeting and contract management.
  • A track record of driving operational improvements and delivering cost efficiencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
