Overview
Locum Bank Workers at St Martins to provide flexible cover across our services:
- Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub – a hub that provides a safe place to stay for a person who is already sleeping rough, has a history of rough sleeping or is at imminent risk of rough sleeping.
- Bishopbridge House – a 30-bed direct access hostel that aims to provide an effective life skills and resettlement service for single homeless people.
- Dibden Road – a 23-bed hostel; the hostel aims to support men aged 18 and above to establish their housing pathway into independent living.
- St Martins House – a 23-bed hostel providing second-stage accommodation for people taking the next step towards independent living.
- Webster Court – a two-storey block with 33 apartments, providing housing and care for people aged over 50, many of whom are physically frail and have mental health issues such as dementia and have experienced homelessness.
- Highwater House – a 22-bed residential care home providing care and support for adults with mental health and substance misuse issues; focus on Trauma Informed Care (TIC) in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
- Community Housing – work at the community housing service, providing 1:1 support to individuals, in accordance with their support and action plan to promote independent living and move on.
- Pathways Outreach – outreach service that determines whether someone is appropriately accommodated and, if not, develops a support pathway plan addressing their immediate future.
- Pathways Projects – supporting clients in properties in the community to provide effective life skills.

What we are looking for
- Someone with the passion and drive to work for Norwich's largest charity supporting the most vulnerable people in the region.
- Evidence of emotional resilience and tenacity to provide support, even when faced with resistance.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible and work unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays at short notice.
