A healthcare provider specializing in mental health is seeking a Social Worker to support young patients with eating disorders. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, liaising with families and community services, and facilitating discharge planning. As a Social Worker you are required to work effectively within the MDT to support our young people, their families and carers. As a critical member of the team, it is essential you hold strong risk management and safeguarding knowledge/skills.
Excellent working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983/2007 as well as other statutory legislation such as Children Act 1989, Care Act 2014, child protection, protection of vulnerable adults and multi‑agency public protection arrangements is required.
Ideally you will have experience of working with children and young adults within a mental health or CAMHS service.
