Job summary

A prominent healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Paediatrics. The successful candidate will join a team of 25 at a major medical center, responsible for managing a wide range of patients and developing Paediatric services. Applicants must be GMC registered and ideally within 6 months of receiving their CCT. Qualifications

• Fully registered with the GMC and on the Specialist Register for surgical Ophthalmology.
• Able to provide elective and emergency Ophthalmic services.
• Devote the whole of his/her time to the duties of the post.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full range of Ophthalmology patients admitted under care.
• Provide reciprocal cover for periods of leave.
• Play an active role in developing Paediatric sub-specialty services.

Skills

Expertise in Paediatric Ophthalmology

Experience in Adult and Paediatric Strabismus

Full GMC registration

Completion of CCT
