As a Lock Out Tag Out Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your work will ensure the safety and efficiency of all operations on the submarine, making a critical difference in maintaining the vessel's readiness and the crew's safety.
Day-to-day, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of activities between Babcock and Royal Navy personnel. You’ll work within a small team managing the Lock Out Tag Out system to guarantee equipment and systems are safely isolated during maintenance, approve and release critical work tasks such as essential repairs or system upgrades, and maintain important work schedules. Your presence in meetings will be vital for planning and organizing work, and you’ll ensure that the highest safety standards are always met. You’ll also:
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
