A global dairy leader in Devon is seeking a Liquid Process Operator for their Taw Valley Creamery. Job Description:

As a Production Operative, you will be part of a high-performance team supporting other functions to meet team and personal goals, reporting to the Production Team Leader. The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, covering both days and nights.

Key responsibilities:
  • Resolving daily production issues and facilitating maintenance.
  • Ensuring the department is audit-ready (hygiene, safety, paperwork).
  • Processing whey and cream to high quality standards using processing equipment.
  • Safely unloading milk deliveries.
  • Dispatching sweet cream and whey, ensuring products meet specifications.
  • Monitoring processes to meet KPIs and communicating deviations.
  • Collaborating with maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
  • Maintaining a safe environment and reporting safety observations.
  • Using LEAN tools for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting risk assessments and SOPs.
  • Performing daily sampling and testing.
  • Completing relevant documentation accurately.
  • Participating in training to maintain skills.
Skills & experience:
