Job description

We are looking for a Lifecycle Painter to join our team in Mansfield.

Working as a Lifecycle Painter you will be responsible for carrying out interior and exterior painting & decorating to a high standard, either alone or working as a team. Working on own initiative when applicable. Undertake painting works as outlined in the agreed life cycle painting programme

What you’ll do:

  • Set out new work using relevant tools and materials, without supervision.
  • Carry out wallpapering, papering etc., to a high level of skill.
  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to inter trade flexibility by agreement.
  • Always leave areas clean and tidy.
  • Prepared to erect and dismantle own scaffolding after training.
  • Prepared to work at high levels on scaffold.

What you\'ll bring to the role:

  • A recognised painting apprenticeship with a minimum of City & Guilds Craft certificate / NVQ3 or equivalent plus 3 years’ experience.
  • You must take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, including staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.
  • You must co-operate fully with management in ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) 1974.
