Overview

Role: LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) - based in Swift Valley, Rugby

Pay Rate: £38,016 based on a 45 hour week

Grade: RCS P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday – cover start times between 04:00-08:00

Location: Rugby - CV21 1QN

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

What does the role entail?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Work pattern - Monday to Friday covering start times between 04:00-08:00
• Curtain sided trailer deliveries of palletised products to a variety of customers
• Can be asked to drive LGV Cat C vehicles as required
• Can be morning run returning to base and second afternoon run
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers\' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

What do we need from you?

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Must have a minimum of 12 months commercial 'on the road' HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Must be flexible to drive different classes of vehicle as and when required as well as returning to base and then completing second runs
• A 'can do' attitude and be a team player
• Live locally to Rugby CV21 1QN
