A leading educational organization in Tendring seeks a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working with SEND children. Responsibilities include supporting learning in the classroom and implementing individualized plans. Come and join our friendly team at Ravens Academy, as a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting the learning of individual pupils within the classroom in all subjects as directed by the Class Teacher / SENCO.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide support for students with complex needs who have an Education, Health and Care Plan. The Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant will ensure that students can integrate as fully as possible in the activities undertaken by other children in the class and make progress with their individualised targets. Duties will include running specific programmes and activities to assist the pupil’s individual learning and social needs. The Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for implementing the targets on the pupil’s Individual Plan in liaison with the class teacher and SENCO. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly team.
The successful candidate will have successful experience of dealing with the complex needs of SEND children and creating and adapting resources to support the needs and inclusion of children with SEND and those with complex needs. This role requires, a grade C/4 or above in English and Maths and a level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
