A local council in the UK is looking for a Leisure and Parks Inspection and Compliance Officer to resolve environmental issues and engage with the community. This role involves coordinating inspections, overseeing maintenance contracts, and more. Applicants should have great people skills and organizational abilities. Are you enthusiastic and just good at getting things done? An exciting opportunity has become available for an interesting and varied role. You will be working as part of a small team looking after the council's parks, trees and play areas. Every day is different - this isn't a desk-bound job; you will spend the majority of your time out in the district being proactive and resolving issues. This customer-focused and varied role provides a great career opportunity if you are starting out or looking for a change in career. Previous experience working in a monitoring or investigative role would be an advantage. However, this is not essential as training will be given for the right candidates.

You will be giving advice to residents and businesses on issues relating to litter, dog fouling, trees, play and the environment.
You will be working with community groups and other partners to improve the quality of the environment in our streets and open spaces.
