Job description

This well-established water treatment/hygiene company currently has a vacancy for a competent and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join them working on a variety of contracts in and around the Wakefield area. Carrying out Legionella Risk assessments in line with ACOP L8, providing recommendations to clients, and producing reports and documents. Applications from Leeds, Rotherham, Huddersfield, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold relevant Legionella Risk Assessment qualification such as City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Extensive experience carrying out risk assessments on hot and hot water services, industrial systems, etc.
• A strong working knowledge relating to ACOP L8.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role:

• Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 on a wide range of properties including industrial and commercial.
• Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
• Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
• Monthly temperature testing, monitoring and water sampling.
• Surveying of water systems and supplies.
• Attending meetings with clients as and when required.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
