• Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ in Plumbing, ideally L2 or higher.
• Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Will have a background working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out deadleg removals.
• Installing, servicing, and replacing TMVs.
• Installing CWSTs.
• Finding faults on site and ensuring issues are rectified timely.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 Guidelines.

Job Title: Legionella Plumber
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and competent Legionella Plumber to join our client who is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. The successful Legionella Plumber will be covering Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Government sites. You will have experience carrying out installations on CWSTs, heated systems, and TMVs, working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines. Covering contracts across the M25 / London and surrounding areas: Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Windsor, Reading, Newbury, Oxford, Watford, Cheshunt, Bishop’s Stortford, Milton Keynes, Bracknell, Woking, Guildford, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ in Plumbing, ideally L2 or higher.
• Will have a background working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
• Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Will be professional and courteous towards colleagues / clients of all levels.
• Will have excellent IT skills.

The Role

• Carrying out deadleg removals.
• Installing, servicing, and replacing TMVs.
• Installing CWSTs.
• Installing unvented heated water systems.
• Installing and rerouting of copper and PVC pipes.
• Finding faults on site and ensuring that any issues are rectified in a timely manner.
• Carrying out checks on plumbing work and signing off upon completion.
• Undertaking plumbing of bathrooms.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 Guidelines.
• Ensuring logbooks are accurate and completed upon completion of work.
