Job description

We are recruiting an experienced Legal Secretary to join our successful Clinical Negligence Team in London.

We're looking for a talented individual who will be working on a large number of cases and as such, we need someone who can chase medical reports, review records, prepare trial bundles, manage medical/treatment instructions, send instructions to Counsel, pay disbursements and draft letters to clients. Other duties will include running retainers, assisting our Fee Earners with various tasks, reviewing CCTV and booking legal hearings.

There will also be management of administrative tasks such as arranging conferences, assisting with ledgers (client balances and aged debt), file transfers and providing updates to our clients.

We are looking for someone with previous legal secretarial experience; a law degree is not required.
