About Lawhive

We’re on a mission to make sure everyone has access to the law. Lawhive is an online platform for consumers and small businesses to get legal help for a fraction of the cost of a law firm. Our platform combines regulated human lawyers collaborating alongside the world’s first AI lawyer, specifically built for consumer legal work. Equal access to the law is one of the biggest and most pressing unsolved problems in society today. We’re passionate about leveling the playing field and believe access to the law should be a basic utility in society. Our AI lawyer Lawrence is built on top of our own fine tuned LLM and recently passed the UK’s bar exam equivalent. We’re backed by some of the top US and UK VC funds including Google Ventures, Balderton Capital and TQ Ventures. We recently secured a $40M Series A funding round to facilitate international expansion and to grow our team, representing one of the five largest Series A rounds in Europe for 2024.

About the Role

Having newly launched in the US, we’re hiring for several Inbound Legal Sales Specialists to work with our US customers and help them get access to the legal services they need. This role will cover either our 2pm - 11pm or 3pm - 12am shift, Monday - Friday.

Reporting to our Inbound Sales Director, you would be responsible for reaching out to inbound leads and inquiries to assess and understand the legal needs of potential customers. Every LAS team member is directly involved in Lawhive's customer-facing processes and product, giving you the opportunity to help contribute to the building blocks of our Series A startup.

Location

Fully remote, UK based with travel to our London office required once every 8 weeks on average.

What You\'ll Do
  • Reaching out to warm leads and communicating directly with potential clients
  • Scoping out and assessing legal problems; educating potential customers on the benefits of Lawhive and how we can assist them with their legal situations
  • Answering client questions and handling objections via phone, email and webchat
  • Being on the look-out for opportunities to improve our product and processes
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ year of previous sales experience, preferably in a closing role
  • An LLB, LLM or JD, or previous working experience as a paralegal or related legal work
  • Strong communication skills with high EQ
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A high degree of motivation and agility with the ability to perform in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Previous experience working in a tech start-up is considered a bonus
