Lecturer in Childcare

Location: North Notts College, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S81 7HP

Salary: Up to £33,487 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) plus benefits

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding teaching and assessment in Levels 1-5 Early Years.
• Motivate students, support their potential and ensure achievement.
• Provide an enriched curriculum, monitor student progress and promote timely completion.
• Recruit and advise students on progression routes and develop industry links for enrichment and work experience.
• Develop creative resources to inspire learning and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management, supporting team goals.
• Contribute to the development of the Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, a relevant teaching qualification and teacher award, or be willing to work towards them.
• Possess a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, or be willing to work towards it.
• Experience in IQA and dissertation delivery.
• Ability to bring the subject to life using practical, theoretical and digital methods.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
