A prominent university in Bolton seeks a full-time Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering to teach and support instructional programs. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree and have a minimum of five years' experience in engineering or education. Responsibilities include teaching courses, supervising teaching assistants, and contributing to course development. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to inspire students are essential. Eligible candidates must be able to work in the USA.
The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering at Purdue University, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position of Lecturer at their West Lafayette location effective Spring 2026. A successful candidate for the position of lecturer will be expected to provide instructional support for the College of Engineering's program by directly teaching courses from the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering curricula. The lecturer will hold primary responsibility for teaching, and assessment. The lecturer will also be responsible for supervising graduate teaching assistants, and undergraduate teaching assistants assigned to their courses. Specific course focuses are the following:
Lecturer will be expected to teach up to 3 courses per semester in large enrollment classes.
The candidate must have at a minimum a M.S. degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a closely related field and minimum of five years working in engineering or education. Preference is for experience in a professional setting or a teaching setting. Well qualified candidates will also have exceptional organizational and communication skills, an ability to work with people with diverse backgrounds, a motivating and inspiring presence. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to ongoing course development.
Expertise in teaching, strong communication and interpersonal skills, project management, organizational skills, expertise in some areas of Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering, knowledge of common office computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Powerpoint.
