The University of Bath’s Life Sciences department is seeking a Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy to join our team. This part-time role is a fantastic opportunity for a practicing health professional with training experience to transition into academia.
As part of our Advanced Programmes in Pharmacy Practice and Therapeutics (AP3T), the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of courses focused on primary or secondary care, independent prescribing, advanced clinical assessment, and advanced clinical pharmacy practice at the Master’s level. While the focus is primarily on secondary care, there is flexibility to concentrate on various aspects of our Master’s programmes.
We welcome applications from a range of disciplines, and while having a prescriber qualification is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
The ideal candidate will be a registered and practicing (or recently practicing) pharmacist with strong clinical skills. Experience as a prescriber or Advanced Clinical Practitioner and a background in teaching is highly desirable. The candidate should be adept in both face-to-face and virtual learning environments.
