Qualifications

  • At least 12 months’ experience in a similar role.
  • Qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent) is required.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths are necessary.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication are a must.
  • Enhanced DBS Check is required.

Salary: £20,021.63 – £23,049.00 (Term Time) | £26,339.56 – £30,732.00 (Full Year Equivalent)

Located in Presteigne, our school offers a truly unique learning environment, set within 18 acres of fields, woodlands, a stream, lake, swimming pool, and sports hall. Children with autism and complex needs are supported to feel safe, respected, and inspired. As part of our team, you will play a key role in providing engaging learning opportunities both inside the classroom and outdoors, helping students to achieve their full potential and build lasting memories.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be:

What we’re looking for:
  • At least 12 months’ experience in a similar role.
  • A qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent).
  • GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
  • Enrolment requires an Enhanced DBS Check, including a Barred List Check.
