Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support with SEND.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrate initiative to adapt support techniques to meet individual student needs.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and confidence.
- Understand and accommodate different children's needs and learning styles.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs.
- Two recent professional references.
- Ability to communicate with and inspire children.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
- Previous experience working with SEND students is essential.
- A good sense of humour and a positive attitude towards supporting students.
- Demonstrated ability in behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent use of initiative to adapt support techniques.
- Understanding of different children's needs and learning styles.
