A prominent NHS organization in the East Midlands seeks a lead professional for perinatal quality, assurance, and compliance. The successful candidate will develop and monitor adherence to maternity and neonatal safety standards, collaborating with a diverse team of stakeholders to improve healthcare outcomes. Essential qualifications include NMC registration and a leadership management qualification. The lead professional for perinatal quality, assurance and compliance will work in conjunction with the senior perinatal leadership team to develop, implement and facilitate actions for consistent compliance with all local and nationally agreed maternity and neonatal quality and safety standards.
The post holder will work collaboratively with Local Maternity and Neonatal system (LMNS) and key stakeholders to plan, monitor and evaluate the response to national maternity and neonatal reviews and requirements. This role requires a cross‑organisational and multi‑disciplinary team approach, building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to meet service review and safety requirements set by the Care Quality Commission, NHS Resolutions Maternity Incentive Scheme and other health regulators.
