A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking an enthusiastic pharmacist to join their Pharmacy Specialist Medicine Team. The role involves leading rheumatology services, supporting biologics review clinics, and managing funding applications for high-cost medicines. The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Pharmacy, GPhC registration, and excellent clinical practice knowledge. The Rheumatology service cares for over 5000 patients across 4 hospital sites, with over 2600 patients prescribed biologic therapy.
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Specialist Medicine Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
The team provides clinical pharmacy services across several specialties within the Specialist Medicine directorates. In this role, you will be the lead pharmacist for rheumatology services.
As the successful candidate you will support the Biologics Review Clinics to ensure all these patients are regularly reviewed & treatment tailored to their requirements. A good understanding of the high cost drugs process is required as you will be expected to monitor & manage funding applications for these medicines within Rheumatology.
