Overview

Lead HSE Engineer - Renewables - Permanent

Our client is recruiting for a Global HSE Consultant to be based in the ME for a long term Renewable project

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for developing HSE design basis, philosophies, study reports, equipment specifications, P&ID, layouts, datasheets, hazardous area schedules, fire & gas detector layouts, firewater hydraulics, fire water pump sizing, deluge/spray system design, and procurement of gas suppression systems for Offshore wind Energy platform.

Organize and actively participate in workshops including HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, FMECA, RAM, SIL, Bow-Tie, SCE PS, and ALARP.

Develop inquiry requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions for specialist studies, as well as safety and fire-fighting equipment.

Coordinate with clients, regulatory authorities, consultants conducting specialized studies, third-party certifying agencies, consortium partners, subcontractors, other discipline engineers, and the project team.

Prepare and track the project schedule to ensure design activities are completed within allocated manhours and timelines.

Organize and participate in FAT, SAT, HAT, and offshore commissioning of fire protection and safety systems.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with experience in technical safety and loss prevention experience in offshore projects, with Engineering Companies or Safety Consultants.
  • German Native or fluent in German language
