Overview

Lead Engineering Services Planner / Scheduler – Based: Bedford. Attractive Salary & Benefits. Days Mon-Fri, Early finish on Fridays.

Jenrick is looking for an Engineering Services Planner / Scheduler for a well established Bedfordshire-based manufacturer of special purpose machines sold to household blue chip names across the globe.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer enquiries, gather technical information to assess the scope and urgency in order to prioritise each request.
• Combine preventative maintenance and proactive maintenance service contracts to optimise the schedules of in-house service engineers including route management, and creating dedicated visit packs for engineers.
• Follow up on engineer reports to identify potential sales opportunities such as spares, repairs, upgrades, maintenance and staff training.

Location & Schedule

You will be based at their recently refurbished site in Bedford (within easy reach of the A6 and A421 and free on-site parking) with an early finish on Fridays, good salary and benefits package.

Requirements

• Candidates should have proven experience in a customer service role within a technical or engineering environment, or alternatively, have worked as an engineering or maintenance planner / scheduler.
• Applicants should have the ability to understand technical terminology and be comfortable using ERP and CRM tools.
