A leading aerospace company in Cheltenham is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the configuration of power distribution products for commercial aircraft. This role involves managing various engineering challenges, collaborating across teams, and ensuring product design integrity. Candidates should possess a strong background in electrical design, knowledge of AC/DC systems, and familiarity with Siemens Capital modules. You will take a lead role in the configuration of our power distribution products for commercial aircraft platforms and will be involved in the full lifecycle of the product from initial product variants to aftermarket product upgrades.
In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve hardware engineering problems, within the fields of electrical power and utilities Management to carry out the design of electrical wiring and products for civil aerospace applications.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Electrical Engineer you will utilize your experience and expertise to support the production of aviation products to satisfy customer requirements.
You will manage, and prioritize, your workload to drive and resolve engineering, manufacturing, and test issues to support the product range.
