Job description

Videojet, a Veralto company, is a leader in the product identification market, delivering in‑line printing, coding and marking solutions across food, beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. This role is part of our New Product Development procurement team, focused on launching world‑class products with a global outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Lead Buyer.
• Participate in and take ownership of new product development procurement activities from early‑stage market requirement identification to product launch.
• Complete components planning and procurement (dock to stock); ensure suppliers on board, delivery and cost targets are met; provide successful product‑planning hand‑off to Commodity Managers and Buyer‑planners.
• Collaborate and foster excellent relationships between suppliers, Engineering and Supply‑Chain teams to support delivery of world‑class products and services.
• Represent Procurement in the cross‑functional project team to deliver the new product on time and on cost.
• Provide regular reports and updates on project status, including cost and on‑time delivery.
• Interface with recent acquisitions to develop and implement Global Procurement best practices for product development innovation and VAVE.
• Develop and manage the prototype supply base and end‑of‑life supply base.
• Negotiate favorable commercial terms for Videojet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (technical background desirable).
• 4+ years of professional procurement experience (Supply Chain, Operations or Project Management) ideally with a global outlook.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Lean manufacturing certifications desirable.
• Travel of up to 25% of time; may exceed these levels for European, US, Asian or South American regions.

Location: Hybrid – Huntingdon, UK or Nottingham, UK.
