Select are currently recruiting for Lathe Machine Operators for one of our lovely clients in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery, inspecting products whilst ensuring high-quality production standards. Full training will be provided alongside a structured on-boarding process.

Shift Pattern
  • Week 1: Sunday – Wednesday
  • Week 2: Sunday – Tuesday
  • Shift Times: 06:00 – 18:00
Training Period
  • Duration: Up to 6 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00
  • Pay Rate: £12.95 per hour during training and £14.76 after training once transferred to shifts
Key Responsibilities
  • Shape, cut, and finish materials to precise specifications using lathe machines
  • Set up and operate lathe machines efficiently and safely
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
  • Use precision measuring tools accurately
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience operating lathes is desirable
