Overview

Compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants needed for a lovely care home in Nottingham, in the NG10 area that provides nursing and residential care for people experiencing neurological illnesses, brain injuries or mental health illnesses.

The home provides care for residents aged 18-65, and as a Care Assistant, you would provide a key role in the efficient running of the service.

Responsibilities
  • Help residents with personal care and daily activities, encouraging the service users to remain as independent as possible.
  • Complete relevant paperwork.
  • Follow personalised care plans and report any issues you may encounter.
  • Personal care, including assisting with dressing, bathing, and feeding.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Proven experience within a similar care environment.
  • Have a checkable work history.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates, online training may be offered (additional fee).
  • In-date enhanced DBS check. If your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one.

You will be working from Monday to Friday starting at 14:00 and finishing at 22:00.

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
