Your Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The main duties of this role will include ensuring that all product meets required specification from intake through to customer delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Work within the company’s Safety and Health guidelines
• Testing of Wheat, Flour and associated products
• Monitor product quality to ensure it meets required parameters from intake through to customer delivery, including efficient & accurate data entry and reporting
• Flagging Quality concerns to Quality Specialist, Technical Manager and Milling Team immediately
• Create & issue certificates for customers
• Assist with maintaining laboratory testing equipmentEnsure Central Technical Function receive samples required for testing
• Liaise with Wheat Department on claims and independent testing requirements
• Coordinate with despatch department regarding certification and testing requirements associated to customer deliveries
• Deputise for Quality Specialist

Your Profile

• Educated to GCSE level, Maths and English
• 1+ years working in food industry (preferably with laboratory experience) (Optional)
• Experienced with Microsoft programmes (including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
