Job description

We are looking for a Kitchen and Domestic Assistant to ensure the cleanliness and hygienic appearance of the kitchen, assisting the Cook where necessary, and also working as a Domestic Assistant to keep a high standard of appearance and cleanliness in the home.

Rate of Pay

£12.30 to £12.48 per hour

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to :

Kitchen Assistant

• Assist cook in the preparation of vegetables and at very busy periods where necessary.
• To clean the cooker, oven hot plate, Bain Maries, and all other equipment including Fridges and Freezers as per the cleaning schedule.
• To follow the cleaning schedule as directed by the Head Cook.
• To deal with the waste bags in accordance with health & safety and infection control procedures.
• Ensure that tea trolleys and trays are kept clean at all times.
• Ensure the dishwasher is maintained to required standard as per cleaning schedules.
